While your student attends their Transfer Orientation, join us for a program for parents and guests. The program provides an overview of University resources and services and helps answer questions that parents might have about life at the University of Minnesota. Please register in advance to attend this program.
About the Program
Cost & Registration
We encourage you to attend our Parent & Guest Program on the same day as your student's orientation date if you are able. Please note that you are not automatically signed up for the Parent & Guest Program when your student registers for their Orientation. The registration process for the Parent & Guest Program is a separate system and you will need your student's Orientation dates in order to register.
The Parent & Guest Program includes lunch, a half day of workshops to assist you through this transition, and helpful materials at the cost of $15 per participant for pre-registration.
Once your student has selected an orientation date, register here for Parent & Guest Orientation!
Please Note: You will need to know their 7-digit student ID number and date of birth.
If you would prefer to pay by check or money order (payable to the University of Minnesota), please download this form, print and complete it, and mail the form and payment to the address below.
